limo (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a travel planning application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile app (“App”).
2) Information we collect
- Account Information: If you sign in, we may collect your name, email address and authentication identifiers.
- Location Data: Approximate or precise location (GPS, network) to enable map and place features. You can disable this in your device settings.
- Trip & Content Data: Itineraries, activities, tags, notes and other content you create or save.
- Usage & Diagnostics: Device and app interaction data (e.g., crash logs, performance, basic analytics).
- Purchases: Transaction metadata necessary to process in‑app purchases via Google Play Billing.
- Files & Media (optional): If you choose features that read or write files (e.g., export/import, caching), the App accesses only the files it creates or the ones you select. We do not scan your device storage.
3) How we use information
- Provide core features (trip planning, places search, translations, recommendations).
- Personalize content and remember your preferences.
- Process payments and subscriptions.
- Measure performance, fix bugs and prevent abuse.
- Serve ads where applicable.
4) AI‑generated content
Some suggestions and itineraries are generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI). These are recommendations only and may be inaccurate or outdated. Always verify important details (e.g., opening hours, safety, travel restrictions) with official sources before relying on them.
5) Third‑party services
We use trusted providers to deliver parts of the App. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase / Firestore – authentication, cloud storage, diagnostics.
- Google Places API – place search and details.
- Google Translate API – translation features.
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) – advertising.
- OpenAI API – AI‑based content generation.
- Google Play Billing – in‑app purchases.
We do not control and are not responsible for third‑party practices. Where possible, we pass only the minimum data required to provide the feature.
6) Legal bases (EEA/UK)
If you are in the EEA/UK, we process personal data under these legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the App), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the App), and consent (for optional features like personalized ads or precise location where required).
7) Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with service providers solely to operate, secure and improve the App, comply with law, or protect our rights. Aggregated or de‑identified information may be shared for analytics.
8) Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, unless a longer retention is required by law. You may request deletion as described below.
9) Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
10) Your choices & rights
- Access/Deletion: Request a copy or deletion of your data.
- Corrections: Ask us to rectify inaccurate information.
- Permissions: You can revoke app permissions (location, storage) in your device settings.
- Opt‑out of ads personalization: Use your device’s ad settings and, where available, AdMob’s consent options.
11) Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it.

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We take steps to ensure appropriate protections where required.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective Date” above indicates the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted in‑app or on this page.
